Welcome to Business Game (BA140IU) course at HCM International University

This course looks in depth at strategic decision making in companies at the top management level, bringing together concepts that you learned in other courses. In particular, the course brings together and develops further concepts from the Marketing, Strategy, and Microeconomics core courses while touching on elements of Finance. The course provides a framework for analyzing the strategies of companies, identifying strategic synergies, and understanding a company's core strengths. The course is designed to be essential for students interested in a career in strategic management consulting, in marketing.

For IU students, please register your email address in the class list (on the top right hand corner). Choose the correct mail group for the class you actually enrolled to.

First period outcomes

The following charts show the stock price index for the period 1. You should now have full access to all the decision panels. Please make sure you order relevant market studies for the next period. 

Period 1

Dear students,

The following groups did not complete their PAK registration. Please do so as soon as possible.

For the first period, things are kept simple. Please note that R&D and Brand Portfolio decisions are disabled for this period. 

For the other decisions, please make them carefully. 

Something you need to be extremely cautious: R&D projects take 1 period to complete (Period 1 does not have R&D) and remember to choose the market reports each period (you need theses to make decisions)

Make sure you have your PAKs and team password.
